    Jessie

    verified

    rescue
    Breed: Bogle
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Boxer / Beagle / Mixed. Name: Jessie Breed: Boxer Beagle Approximate Age: 3 years old Approximate Weight: 38 lbs Personality: friendly, energetic Observations with Dogs: good Observations with Cats: would probably chase Observations with Kids: good Currently Living at: Foster in the DC region. Jessie needs an adopter! Jessie is a big dog in a little package. The star of the dog park, she loves to play with other dogs, and especially loves larger dogs. (Her best friends weigh in at 70 and 100 lbs.) She is a rough-and-tumble girl and would love an active household that will give her plenty of exercise. This little firecracker has a softer side and is a big snuggler who would love to keep you warm in the winter. Jessie knows the sit and down commands, waits patiently for her dinner and is super food-motivated which indicates she’d be an obedience class superstar. She can be shy at first when meeting strangers, but give her a chance and she'll show you how great she can be. Jessie is extremely loyal, so once you win her trust, she will be your best friend and constant companion. She has even gotten the thumbs-up from her TV namesake, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) from ‘Breaking Bad.’ He took one look at her and said, “Awww, Batdog!” Jessie has done very well in her foster home and hasn't had an accident in months. Of course, after moving into a new location she may need a little transition time. If you are interested in adopting Jessie, please submit an adoption application at http://dcpawsrescue.org/adoption-info/adoption-application-dogs/DC PAWS Rescue does our best to provide accurate and complete information about our adoptable animals. Please note that we cannot make any guarantees about age or breed; we rely upon our rescue partners and their veterinarians to make those assessments. We also cannot make any guarantees about housebreaking and animal temperament, as animals can behave differently through transition and in different environments. Our shelter partners provide a basic vet screening for each animal we rescue, which includes necessary vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, and spay/neuter (unless the animal is too young or otherwise deemed by the vet to not be a good candidate for surgery). Please note that this is not a comprehensive medical exam and as such, may not identify any and all medical issues, though our goal is to flag any obvious health issues through the basic vet screening. We share all medical records with adopters and flag any known issues prior to adoption finalization. About DC PAWS Rescue Our rescue is an all-volunteer, foster-based dog and cat rescue in the DC area. We rescue from rural areas in the south, as well as local DC area shelters, such as Prince Georges County, MD and Wicomico County, MD. BE A FOSTER: Fosters make it possible for DC PAWS to save and care for homeless, neglected and abandoned animals! To learn about fostering dogs or cats for DC PAWS Rescue, please visit: http://dcpawsrescue.org/volunteer/fostering/foster-application BE A SPONSOR: For any of our animals! Sponsors help us provide critical medical care, food, boarding and other support for animals facing euthanasia. Individuals who sponsor a dog or cat receive special recognition on the animal's profile.  Sponsorships can also be made in honor or memory of a loved one, and you may designate to whom DC Paws Rescue should provide notice of your gift. Breed: Bogle
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Senior
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Boxer / Beagle / Mixed (medium coat). Our first step is an application which can be filled out at www.cvrrescue.org p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px 'Helvetica Neue'; color: #454545} *Update* If your looking for happy, laid back companions Rizzie and August are perfect and so sweet. Both have wonderful manners, are house trained, and don’t chew on anything other than their toys. They've made themselves at home in foster care and transitioned without any problems. August loves a good game of fetch and she just got her teeth cleaned so she’s ready to give kisses. Rizzie loves a good belly rub and being outside keeping an eye on the squirrels and sun bathing. They're the perfect companions for a walk in the neighborhood or curling up on the couch to watch tv. Rizzie and August are 10 year old girls that were sadly surrendered to the shelter by their mom. Due to her own health she could no longer care for her girls and wants to find them another loving home. Rizzie is the brindled boxer hound mix and August is the tan beagle mix. They are doing great in foster care and enjoying meeting all the resident dogs and cat. Very sweet and laid back girls. Both are house trained, spayed and up to date on all their shots. August has already picked out a few favorite toys and Rizzie has found her a spot on the couch. They would love to be adopted together. Here's a few short videos of our awesome pair sitting for a cookie. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Oe-6-Pz2qbMhttps://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cggqHllmRGY This dogs doption fee is $100 which covers the following: spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing, dhp/p, rabies, bordatella (agre appropriate vaccines), deworming, and all the care he received while with CVRR. All animals are on flea and tick and parasite prevention for the duration in fostercare. We are an volunteer group, who process the applications so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions. You can expedite the process by providing accurate phone and email addresses for all your references. Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process . We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible. When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the dog picks you too. If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee and an adoption contract to be signed. The adoption fees help cover a portion of the care provided to the animals. All dogs and cats are microchipped and all animals adopted out are spayed/neutered and fully vetted. **All of our animals have a lifetime commitment. If for any reason, the adoption does not work out, the cats and dogs are to come back to CVRR, which is a NO kill rescue.*** The foster family and the rescue volunteers will choose the new home based on the best fit for the dog/cat. Our first step is an application which can be filled out at www.cvrrescue.org

    Breed: Bogle
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Young
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Beagle / Boxer / Mixed (short coat). PLEASE WATCH MY VIDEO: https://youtu.be/jkFe_oSxD8A AND HERE'S MY NEWEST VIDEO: https://youtu.be/-3qPOU7Yrvc Wanda is a 2 year old petite cutie pie at a mere 39 pounds, but don’t let her small size fool you – she is an action-packed pup who is ready to go!!!! She is a Beagle/boxer mix. She would make a great partner for an active person/family who loves to train and wants an athletic canine buddy. Agility anyone? With just a little bit of training and a lot of exercise, this girl could be a STAR! Wanda has lived with another dog who was larger than she is, but will need careful introductions. If she were to have another dog in the family we feel the best would be a large, neutered male dog. Wanda no kitties for her as she does want to chase them. Wanda would do best in a home with a fenced. She is a smart girl who will figure out how to get out if left outside unattended for very long. Are you in the market for a fun and energetic doggie pal? Look no further than Wanda, she might just be the right dog for you! If you would like to meet Miss Wanda please email luckydog115@gmail.com or call Terry at 253-229-6044
