Overview:  The Silkshire Terrier is a mix between the Silky Terrier and the Yorkie. These dogs are best in homes with no small children or other pets.

Coat:  The coat is long and silky.
Character:  Silkshire Terriers are energetic, intelligent and alert.
Temperament:  Silkshire Terriers get along best with older children. Many don't do well with other pets.
Care:  The coat needs to be brushed regularly and bathed as needed. Some may need a trim twice each year.
Training:  Silkshire Terriers respond well to patient training. Some are difficult to housebreak.
