Very similar to the Carolina Dog, the Canis Africanis is an ancient breed of dog from Africa. They are amazing dogs, intensely loyal, very intelligent, trainable and healthy. Toubab is an Africanis that was brought to the US by his owners, who were working in Africa. He is from Senegal, a former street urchin, and now a very cherished family companion. Unfortunately Toubab is being challenged by his dog housemate, another Africanis adopted from the same area. Toubab needs a new home as an only pet, with people who will cherish him and keep him safe, happy and healthy. He is best suited for adults only - or a family with teens. Toubab is 4, up to date on shots, fixed and very healthy. He will be rehomed with supplies and vet records. Owner willing to drive him to a good home anywhere within 1000 miles of his location.
