Description
Gunnar is a typical Blue Lacy, he loves to be outdoors and exploring or hunting. He is a devoted people dog, but he will wander a little in search of fun. His owner has recently seen a big increase in travel and time away from home and poor Gunnar is feeling left behind. They want more than anything to find him a great home with a fenced yard and active family that will help Gunnar enjoy his youth. He used to be an inside dog most of the time, but recently moved to a home near the beach and with a nice big yard. He loves it! Lacy dogs are a very special breed, developed in Texas as herding and hunting dogs. They are tough, athletic, highly intelligent and dedicated. Lacys do best when they have a job to do, whether it’s herding livestock or tracking wild boars – or following their owner around and helping with chores. Gunner is no exception, and he is ideally looking for a home with owners who are active and enjoy getting out and doing stuff. He is good with other dogs, and is patient and loving with children. He has not been around cats, so it would be best for him to be placed in a cat-free home. If you are already a Lacy fancier, or are interested in adopting an incredibly handsome dog with a blue-grey coat, human-like intelligence, and a sensible, no-nonsense personality, Gunner is waiting to meet you. Please offer Gunner his forever home today. There is a $150 adoption/rehoming fee. Supplies and veterinary records will be included. Questions about Gunner? Text or call our Florida dog rehoming team at (888) 720-3322. You can reach us by email at gunnerdog-lover.us. We look forward to hearing from you.
