Do you want a companion that's going to be right there behind/beside you every time you turn around? If you answered yes to the above questions than you should meet Brutus! He is a fantastically lovable pitty mix that is looking for his furever home. Brutus is a lover of cuddles, head scratches, and just being wherever it is you are. Breed: Bichon-A-Ranian
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Pomeranian / Bichon Frise / Mixed (long coat). Adoption Fee: 200.00. Welcome Snow! Snow is a really amazing little guy. He is great with dogs and overall is a perfect pup! Snow is pretty energetic and loves to play! Although he is energetic, this guy can definitely cuddle! He does have a little bit of a voice and may be vocal in his kennel or from time to time, so someone who is okay with a spunky pup is a necessity! Once his hair grows out, he will be a fluff ball. His hair was cut shorter in his previous home to help with his previous owner's allergies. Snow does do well pottying outside, but sometimes has accidents. Snow is ready for his furever home... is that you?

Breed: German Shorthaired Pointer-Red Heeler Mix
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Young
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: German Shorthaired Pointer / Red Heeler / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 200.00. Welcome Benji to Diamond in the Ruff! Benji is a sweet German Shorthair Pointer mix who has the cute spots and all. He had a DNA test done in his previous home, so we got a little insight on his possible breed. Benji lived in a home with other dogs and cats. He definitely would need dog-savvy cats that can hold their own in his future home, or one without, as this boy loves to play and doesn't discriminate against his playmates. We would love for Benji's forever home to be one that has knowledge on this breed, as he is a high energy breed and truly needs someone who understands his needs. Benji would love a running partner who can dedicate time to making sure he is physically and mentally stimulated! Benji does get along with dogs, but he is very playful! This means he would need someone who can match his energy needs if there is another dog in the home. He is such a sweet boy, truly dedicated to his family, and loves to be loved. Benji is currently with Karl's Ivy League Dog Training and is being taught some basic manners and will be conditioned for hunting if he can take to it! If you think you're the right fit, please apply today!

    Obie

    rescue
    Breed: Bullboxer Pit
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Boxer / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 200.00. Obie is such a sweet little pup. He likes to snuggle with people and he thinks he’s a lap dog. He gets along well with most dogs, but bigger, energetic, and in his face dogs make him a little nervous. We think he would do better in a home with a dog that's more on his energy level! Obie is good with cats and has done well around children at a couple adoption events, but does not live with any currently. We are working on training. Obie will 'sit', 'wait' and sometimes he does 'down'. He still has some trouble with jumping up but we are working on it! He is a very smart boy, so he is taking to things pretty quickly. We have been working to get Obie's seizures under control. He has had a couple with us, but has been doing okay within the last few weeks. Obie does also suffer from allergies to dust and storage mites. We are currently working hard to get his itching under control. Obie is on a medication for both his allergies and seizures. This will be something he will need for the rest of his life, so his adopter will need to be dedicated to making sure he has his prescription every month. Overall, Obie is such a good dog. He has amazing temperament. He would make any family very lucky!

    Mitzy

    Breed: German Shorthaired Lab
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Senior
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Labrador Retriever / German Shorthaired Pointer / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 200.00. Hi, my name is Mitzi. I am a German Short Hair Mix. In March I will turn 14 years old, but don’t let that scare you off because I don’t act my age. I love to play with my toys and chase a ball on occasion. My fosters’ cat and I get along real well, even though sometimes I stare at her too long or annoy the heck out of her by wanting to play when she doesn’t. I get along just fine with other dogs unless they want my toy that I am playing with. I’d rather not share my toys. I love to go for walks, and keep my nose to the ground because there is always something interesting to smell. I like to snuggle up against my foster dad when he’s on the recliner watching TV. I like to take naps during the day and like to sleep close by my fosters’ bedroom at night. There are a few things I don’t like. I don’t like when people cough. My foster mom caught a cold and when she coughs, I run upstairs. I use to sleep in my fosters’ bed at night, but now I don’t because coughing scares me. My foster mom likes to think she’s a dog whisperer and thinks this behavior of mine is linked to my previous life. She may be on to something. I just want you to know that if you’re a chronic cougher or are prone to sneezing a lot, I am not the dog for you. I would spend most of my day trying to avoid you. I also don’t like to hunt. I’m too old for that stuff, and guns scare me. I don’t like being left alone and only then will you hear me vocalize my displeasure. My foster mom always puts me in charge of the cat and tells me she’ll be back. She’s true to her word, so I settle in with the cat until she returns. Another quirky thing I do is take kibble from my bowl and take it into the living room and drop it on the floor to eat now or later. I’m pretty good about cleaning up my mess. My perfect forever home would be a home where there isn’t a lot of commotion. My fosters are retired and their kids have grown up and moved away so things are pretty calm around here. I like being the center of attention.
