I need to rehome the sweetest and most loving boy. Unfortunately, he has started to go after my cats and it has created an unsafe environment for everyone in my home. He does get along great with other dogs and with children. I would love to see him go to a family with a large yard for him to play ball in. He loves to play ball and loves cuddles and kisses. He is microchipped and up to date on shots.

Posted Breed: Boxer / Border Collie / Mixed (short coat). To be considered for adopting a dog from Canine Lifeline, you must have an approved application must be on file. Please visit .caninelifeline/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application. We LOVE this dog! Angus is a big overgrown 1-2 year-old Boxer/Border Collie/Lab mix puppy who is about as cute and full of personality as they come. Angus found himself homeless at an overcrowded rural county dog shelter after being left there by his family along with his brother Fergus and their Boxer mix mom Ciera. The whole family made the trip to Canine Lifeline from the overcrowded shelter so they would be able to relax in a foster home while searching for permanent new homes. Angus has never met a stranger and loves meeting new people and other dogs. He’s got an adorable underbite that only adds to his charm. Angus loves to play and be silly and loves it when his human friends join him in being silly too. He picks up new routines quickly and is eager to learn lots of new things in his new home. Angus weighs about 62 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email infocaninelifeline if you’re interested in Angus. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under the age of 7 years. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there. Posted Breed: Border Collie / Collie / Mixed (medium coat). To be considered for adopting a dog from Canine Lifeline, you must have an approved application must be on file. Please visit .caninelifeline/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application. Bandit is a very handsome 1 year-old Border Collie mix male who was one of 6 dogs who were surrendered to an overcrowded county dog shelter by their owner. The dogs were all under-socialized with people and were very frightened at the shelter. Bandit was the only one who came into the shelter with a name and was the most comfortable around new people. Given that they were so shy, the shelter searched for rescues for these dogs to allow them to relax in foster homes while they searched for new homes. Bandit came to Canine Lifeline and has been a really good boy since his arrival. He seems to be very comfortable meeting new people and does like to gently jump on people to give them a hug. He’s very affectionate and eagerly soaks up all of the attention he can get from his human pals. Bandit does well with other dogs but can be easily overwhelmed when around many new dogs at one time. He might be fine in a new home as the only dog provided that his family has plenty of time to spend with him. He would probably also enjoy having one canine pal who is on the calm and quiet side as rowdy dogs don’t seem to be his cup of tea. Bandit has done very well with crate-training in his foster home so should be able to pick up the house rules quickly in his new home. He is still working on his leash skills but with some daily practice in his new home, he should soon be walking like a pro. Bandit weighs about 45 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. Please visit .caninelifeline/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application. Meet Brogan, a very photogenic 1 year-old Beagle/Chihuahua mix male who was surrendered to an overcrowded rural county dog shelter by his owner who could no longer care for him. We don’t know what kind of life Brogan had before coming into the shelter but he’s been a good guest in his foster home since arriving here with us to search for a permanent new home. Brogan gets along well with other dogs and does well in his crate so should pick up the housetraining rules quickly in his new home. Brogan is very food-motivated and willing to do just about anything for at treat so working with him on obedience should be a rewarding experience. He would likely do fine as the only dog in his new home provided his family has plenty of time to spend with him. Brogan definitely has the spunk to keep up with the big dogs and is going to make a terrific walking, jogging, or hiking buddy for anyone who’s looking for a small dog. Brogan weighs about 16 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. Please visit .caninelifeline/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application. Clancy is a gorgeous Shepherd mix pup who is estimated to be about 9 months to a year-old. He came into an overcrowded rural county dog shelter with Cassidy, a dog who was thought to be his littermate. Both pups made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they would be able to enjoy life in a foster home while searching for perfect new homes. Clancy’s photos were taken shortly after he arrived here with us and he was very shy at that time. He has since come out of his shell and while he’s been very well-mannered in his foster home, he’s definitely let his inner puppy out and he enjoys playing with his fellow foster dogs. Clancy is a smart pup who picks up new routines quickly. He has excellent crate manners so should learn the housetraining routine with ease in his new home. Clancy has been working on his leash manners and is doing well in that department too. He’s just an overall great boy who’s going to make an outstanding companion for one very lucky person or family. Clancy weighs about 31 pounds currently and his adoption fee is $250. This super-cute and confident 1-2 year-old Chihuahua mix male is Dublin. This little guy lost his home when his owner could no longer care for him so made the trip to Canine Lifeline so that he could relax in a foster home while searching for the new home of his dreams. We were very impressed with Dublin from the moment we met him. He is sweet and friendly with everyone he meets including other dogs. Dublin is very attentive to his human friends and seems very eager to learn and to please. He has done well with crate-training in his foster home so should pick up the house rules readily in his new home. In spite of being a little guy, Dublin has plenty of spunk and can keep up with the big dogs when out for a walk. He would make a great walking buddy for someone who wants a pint-sized canine buddy. Please visit .caninelifeline/adoption-process/ for more information about our adoption process and to submit an online application. Dottie is a beautiful 2 year-old Lab mix who’s on the shorter side suggesting there might be something like Basset Hound way back in her family tree. This sweet girl was abandoned by her family. They simply moved out and left her behind. Fortunately, the neighbors took her in and worked with the local shelter to find a rescue to take her on. Dottie came to Canine Lifeline so she could relax in a foster home while searching for the perfect new home. This is one VERY nice dog who is eager to be welcomed into a new family. She knows some commands and is eager to show you that she can sit and shake hands for a treat. Dottie has never met a treat she doesn’t like so is a bit on the chubby side and is looking forward to lots of walks this spring to get into shape for fun summer adventures. Dottie gets along well with other dogs, has excellent crate manners, and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. She’s the type of dog who is likely to walk right into her new house and make herself at home. Her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. Fiona is an absolutely adorable 7-8 month-old Boxer mix female with some big paws she still needs to grow into. This sweet girl came to us from a county dog shelter after being surrendered by her owner who didn’t have the time to take care of her properly. We don’t know what other breeds might be in her family tree but Fiona has a little head with a big underbite, long legs, and pretty white socks with polka dotted feet. Her underbite gives her an adorable pouty look. She’s truly a doll! Not only is she super-cute but Fiona is as sweet and kind as they come. Everyone she meets—human or canine—is her friend. She’s always got a smile and a wagging tail for her friends. Fiona has been working on crate-training and housetraining in her foster home and doing well with both. With some patient and consistent direction from her new family, she should be able to learn the house rules quickly in her new home. Fiona walks pretty well on a leash for a youngster and is eager to learn lots more in her new home. She weighs about 35 pounds currently and her adoption fee is $250.
