Meet Paz, Boston Terrier Dog For Adoption in Chicago IL Paz is a senior Boston Terrier for adoption to a very loving home in or near Chicago IL. This very special Dog is 11 years old and weighs 32 pounds. Boston Terriers are one of the most popular breeds for companion dogs because of their friendly nature, for the right home, Paz could be a ray of sunshine. Paz is being checked out for Cushing's disease, which could mean some medicine that he takes each day, but otherwise, Paz is a happy healthy, entertaining dog to have around. He just needs more people-time. Paz is being placed for adoption by owner because of a busy schedule with jobs and kids, Paz is not getting the time, attention or care that he needs or deserves. They would love to find someone who can give Paz lots of love and attention. He would be great with a retired couple who have lots of time during the day to spend with him. The owners want Paz to have much more social time and be able to find a family that may be able to give extra attention if he goes on meds. There is a $100 adoption/rehoming fee. Supplies and veterinary records will be included. Questions About Paz? Contact our Chicago dog rehoming team today. Text “Paz” to (888) 833-2128 or email Pazdog-lover.us. We look forward to hearing from you.

These very special Dogs are approaching 4 years old years old and weigh around 75 pounds each. They love any heavy chew toy like Benebone and they love their Greenies and Dentastix. They love playing with each other. Carmela is great at fetching a ball – Luigi not so much. They LOVE to run….we jog together 2-3 times a week – all three of us. Request to Adopt Luigi and Carmela Here There is a $250 adoption/rehoming fee to adopt both dogs together as a bonded pair. I know all my basic commands. I’m house and crate trained. I prefer not to be in a crate. I don’t have to use one at night because I don’t get into things. I love snuggling with my foster family even at night in bed. Look closely, I have the most beautiful eyes, one is blue and the other is hazel! I get along well with other dogs and do well at doggy daycare. I LOVE playing, being silly, and joinin you on car rides and walks. I really enjoy running, I'd love a daily run - so maybe you need a running buddy or take lots of trips to a fenced-in dog park - SO much fun! I'm excited to meet you, and can’t wait to find my forever home! ❤️...Ivy Adoption Fee: $450 We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433 ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee. Posted Breed: Terrier / Husky / Mixed. Batman Villains Litter Updated: 01/09/19 Litter Name: Batman Villains Litter Hi, I'm Penguin!! Pretty good name for a dog that loves water and playing outside, right?!? (let's just say my tux is at the cleaners - LOL) I am about 1 year old and weigh a petite 35 lbs. I am a special guy, not only because I'm so adorable, but because it takes me time to get used to new things, and people, and friends. So I'm not the kind of dog that will run right up to you and ask you to be mine forever. I need space to get used to the idea of a new person, and I can't be rushed (although treats help!). Don't feel sorry for me, that's not what I need. I don't like change, I get used to the way things are and want them to stay the same, and can get a little down when the people I love aren't around. But I do want to find a forever home, so if you are calm and patient with me, I'll get there, I know I will, just in my own time. I'd also like a confident dog that I can follow, we can use our own special dog language to help me understand and navigate new situations. But once I have accepted my new pack, Look Out!! I can be adventurous, and playful - I love the outdoors, I love swimming and getting myself all wet and muddy. I love toys, and playing with my doggy friends. But most of all, I love my people - I am a HUGE snuggler, I have always been the first to ask for a cuddle and get as close to you as I can. I am house trained, and crate trained, and I know my manners. I love kids, but would do best with those 8 years old and up, as they are old enough to understand that I need some warm-up time. And I live with cats, and that's NO problem!! So, what do you think? I promise I'm worth the wait, and we'll have a wonderful life together! Posted Breed: Border Collie / Mixed. Updated: 1/14/19 Are you looking for a mellow fellow that’s already trained and used to living in a home? That’s me – Dinger. My foster mom says that I’m a really good dog and that I’m super smart. Maybe that’s because I’m part border collie (I even have a white tip on the end of my tail). But I’m also part who-knows-what-else: boxer? black lab? I’m 6-8 years old, weigh about 65 pounds, have a short coat and long and pointy shepherd-like ears that hear everything! Even though I’m a bigger dog, I love to cuddle and sit close. I just love to be loved. I was adopted a few years ago, but my family moved and I ended up homeless in another shelter. My microchip helped them call Tailwaggers, and a really nice lady came and got me, took me to her house to stay, and said she would be my foster mom until I could find a new *real* forever home. Tailwaggers called my family to find out why they couldn't keep me, but they didn't call back - I guess they are probably busy with their new life. I know lots of commands, like sit, come, down, and wait. I’ll go to the door or whine a little when it’s time to go out and do my business. If you tell me, “Get your toy”, I’ll run to find a squeaky toy so that we can play. I like a walk in the morning and at night, but the rest of the day, it’s nap-time for me. I’ll curl up on a dog bed, the couch, or on your bed (if that’s okay) and snooze. Later, I might chew on a butcher bone, or look out the windows to keep an eye on the local squirrels. Normally I’m a quiet dog, but if I hear noises that are out of the ordinary, I’ll sound the alert. Foster mom says I’m a good watchdog that way. There’s a dog and a cat in my foster home, and I get along pretty well with both of them. I don’t compete for food with my foster brother dog, and we share toys, bones, and dog beds. He doesn’t play much because he’s older. That’s okay, because I’m not a silly puppy either (I’m six). I’m curious about the cat, but she makes these weird hissing noises. I don’t understand her language, but I think I get the message. My foster mom says that whoever adopts me is really lucky because I’m so friendly and well-behaved. Would you like to take me for a walk? Play with a toy? Chill out and watch some TV together? I’m ready and waiting to be your new best friend! Adoption Fee: $390.00 We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433 ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. Posted Breed: Shar Pei / Mixed. Updated: 12/18/2018 My name is Tasha! I have quite the personality to go along with my unique look. To know me is to love me. I am about 3 years old and about 35 lbs. The first thing you should know about me is that I LOVE KIDS!! The kids in my foster home are 7-9 years old, and my foster mom says I would be SO happy to have kids in my forever home. My foster family is always loving on me. Mom says I melt their hearts but I thought I was just making them smile and laugh. Even when I’m naughty, they smile and laugh. Wait, I’m not naughty! Forget I said that. I’ve got plenty of kisses and butt wiggles to convince you, I mean prove it. Just a word of warning, I can’t be held responsible for what my tail hits as I run, slip, slide and jump on my way to greet you! I do well with car rides, going potty outside and staying in my kennel when my foster family is away. I don’t really need it but foster mom said something about using it as a precautionary measure and my foster sister said I might want it as my safe place away from the loud human foster brothers. I often eat my meals in there too so it’s not that bad. Speaking of food...I love food. Any kind. Yours, mine, theirs. I’ll eat it. I beg nicely and take treats SO gently from your hands, but when you’re not looking I might snatch that snack your kids left on the kitchen table. I’m not naughty though, the kids left it within my reach so it’s fair game, right? See, I was on the street for awhile and didn’t know where or when I’d find my next meal, so please have patience with me as I relearn my manners. I am easily redirected when you say Tasha down and I sit so nicely when told. I might even lay down for you! I love to play. If you see me do a play bow, get ready! I run circles around and on top of my foster siblings and the furniture, trying to practice my high jump and 50 yard dash. It’s so much fun! Foster mom says that I’m cute and funny but the older pups don’t feel the same. Apparently they don’t like to be jumped on? I’d LOVE a fenced yard to run around or trips to the dog park! Don’t worry, I also love naps. So if you think I’m too playful and energetic, think again. I calm down quickly. Sometimes it’s hard to wake me up. Just like those human brothers I mentioned. I’m otherwise just a gentle, softhearted and quiet girl, only heard when dreaming of my furever home. I guess some would say I’m the complete package. Not me though, I’m too humble to brag. Updated: 1-12-19 Name: Athena Sex: Female Breed: Shepherd Mix Age: Approx 3 years old Weight: Approx 60 lbs My name is Athena and my story is one of the worst cases of neglect that officers here had ever seen. I have been at animal control for about 2 years now. They found me just after New Years Day. I only weighed about 18 lbs. I had a family that adored me but when they had their new baby, I was tossed outside and had to fend for myself. I am really hyper but you would be too if you were trapped in a little kennel for 2 years. My siblings that came in with me were all adopted and I’m hoping that it’s now my turn to get a happily ever after. I am very shy at first toward other dogs, but if you give me a chance to warm up, I learn to love them. I do have a small prey drive so I’d be best in a home without smaller animals. I like kids but I do need a strong pack leader to reinforce the manners that I was taught so many years ago. I am smart, strong, and LOVE to play. I will fetch, make things squeak, and keep you laughing. I just need a chance to learn how to be a dog again.
