We're a small homestead with 4 children of varying ages from 0-11 and we will only have litters occasionally (1 or fewer per year). We are in mountainous "wilderness" with exposure to wildlife as well as visitors of many sorts including people, deer, other dogs, chickens, goats and more. English Shepherds are phenomenal all-around dogs that are highly trainable for the task at hand. They thrive when they have a purpose, prefer to be your shadow and observe how to best help with whatever you're looking to accomplish. English Shepherds abilities range from herding, mousing, guarding and being a companion and protector. They will not disappoint.
