Meet Paz, Boston Terrier Dog For Adoption in Chicago IL Paz is a senior Boston Terrier for adoption to a very loving home in or near Chicago IL. This very special Dog is 11 years old and weighs 32 pounds. Boston Terriers are one of the most popular breeds for companion dogs because of their friendly nature, for the right home, Paz could be a ray of sunshine. Paz is being checked out for Cushing's disease, which could mean some medicine that he takes each day, but otherwise, Paz is a happy healthy, entertaining dog to have around. He just needs more people-time. Paz is being placed for adoption by owner because of a busy schedule with jobs and kids, Paz is not getting the time, attention or care that he needs or deserves. They would love to find someone who can give Paz lots of love and attention. He would be great with a retired couple who have lots of time during the day to spend with him. The owners want Paz to have much more social time and be able to find a family that may be able to give extra attention if he goes on meds. There is a $100 adoption/rehoming fee. Supplies and veterinary records will be included. Questions About Paz? Contact our Chicago dog rehoming team today. Text “Paz” to (888) 833-2128 or email Pazdog-lover.us. We look forward to hearing from you.

Luigi and Carmela, Border Collie Labrador Retriever Mix Dogs For Adoption in Chicago IL. Luigi and Carmela are a bonded pair of Male and Female Border Collie Labrador Retriever Mix Dogs for adoption to a very loving home in or near Chicago, IL. These very special Dogs are approaching 4 years old years old and weigh around 75 pounds each. Luigi and Carmela are being placed for adoption by owner for the following reasons: We are away at work way too much now. It has been two months with this schedule with no change anticipated in the future. In addition, we live in a high rise in downtown Chicago, our choice, and the dogs really need a fenced yard and no other animals around. They love any heavy chew toy like Benebone and they love their Greenies and Dentastix. They love playing with each other. Carmela is great at fetching a ball – Luigi not so much. They LOVE to run….we jog together 2-3 times a week – all three of us. Request to Adopt Luigi and Carmela Here There is a $250 adoption/rehoming fee to adopt both dogs together as a bonded pair. Supplies and veterinary records will be included. Questions about Luigi and Carmela? Contact our Chicago Dog rehoming team today. • Mutt Dog For Adoption in Westmont, IL, USA

    LOKI

    verified

    rescue
    Breed: Mutt
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Adult
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Queensland Heeler (medium coat). This very handsome boy is LOKI, a 3 year old, 45 pound, Queensland Blue Heeler who came to us from Kentucky. He is a very loving and joyful dog giving happy barks at other dogs when walking and grand greetings any time you come back home. Loki has been very good with other dogs and cats and can easily live with both. Loki is very sweet and if given the opportunity, he will "lick you to death.” Loki craves humane attention and loves to cuddle whenever possible. He does not like to be separated from his foster family and will remain in whatever room they are in. Loki needs an adopter that has people home more throughout the day and willing to truly make him a part of the family. Because of his exuberance and the possibility of knocking little ones over, Loki is approved for households with children over the age of 8. Being a herding dog, Loki definitely needs daily exercise including walks, playing in the yard, running, etc. He really enjoys chasing a ball and will often bring it back to you when called. Loki knows a couple commands including “sit” and his family is working on “off” because he does tend to jump up to try and kiss your face to greet you. He’s working on leash manners but will a bit more help. Loki is very sensitive and will collapse to the ground and roll over onto his back if you yell at him showing extreme submission. His adopters will need to use positive, rewarding training only! “Loki is such a sweetie. He deserves a wonderful loving home,” said his foster mom. This dog has been examined by a licensed veterinarian, neutered, dewormed, inoculated against diseases, tested for Heartworm Disease and tick-born diseases, placed on monthly preventative and microchipped. ADOPTION APPLICATIONS are available for online completion and submission through our website, .acaringplacehs OR by requesting a paper copy via email, acaringplacecomcast Adoption Fee: $350. A Caring Place - All Breed Dog Rescue adopts throughout the Greater Chicagoland Area. All dogs and puppies live in foster homes, providing you as the adopter, with information on the animal's behaviors, needs, and requirements. We are always in search of fosters care providers. TOPAZ

    verified

    rescue
    Breed: Mutt
    Sex: Female Female
    Age: Young
    Location: USA
Posted Breed: Black Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Introducing TOPAZ, a very loving, female, mixed breed dog - likely a black Labrador mix - who is around 1-2 years old and currently weighing 45 pounds. Her foster mom says she is a wonderful girl with lots of energy which is to be expected with her age. She is very friendly with other dogs and really enjoys playing with the mini-PIG in the foster home. Yep, pig! Topaz is very playful and active in the yard, running around carrying sticks and toys. She is great walking on a leash. Topaz is a bright and curious dog who likes to investigate. She'd do best with an adopter who is looking for a dog that can be active, maybe going hiking or for long walks. It takes a lot of exercise and play for Topaz to just relax. Topaz does get crated when her foster parents leave the home, but is out among everyone whenever they are home. Topaz has not been around children while in foster care but she has been very friendly with everyone she has met. She is housebroken, taken out on a consistent schedule. She has a very unusual coat that is truly sable currently. This dog has been examined by a licensed veterinarian, spayed, inoculated against diseases, dewormed, plus tested for heartworm disease and tick-borne diseases and put on monthly preventatives, plus microchipped. ADOPTION APPLICATIONS are available for online completion and submission through A Caring Place's website - .acaringplacehs OR by requesting a paper application via email, acaringplacecomcast. Adoption Fee: $325. A Caring Place - All Breed Dog Rescue adopts throughout the Greater Chicagoland Area. Posted Breed: Basset Hound / Mixed. Franklin is your typical teenage dog, he loves to run and play, but then melts like butter on your lap for belly rubs! He’s good with dogs larger than he is and likes cats but does like to chase. He would do best with a fenced yard. He is coming along nicely with housebreaking.

Posted Breed: Great Dane / Mastiff / Mixed (short coat). We welcome specific questions. Due to high volume of applications, we may not be able to respond immediately. Your patience is appreciated. If an animal is on our website, it is still available but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, it is in your best interest to submit an application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process. We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application. As an all-volunteer, foster home based organization, A.R.F. Animal Rescue Foundation does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we must give priority to pre-approved applicants. Tex is a two year old neutered male Great Dane/Mastiff mix who weighs in at 95 pounds. . He is housebroken and good with dogs and cats. He is very gentle and loving! Tex likes to follow you around and lean against you. He is also very playful outside if you chase him. Come meet this young loving big boy! Tex is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, housebroken and neutered. His new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. Tex' s adoption fee is $400. A meeting will not be scheduled until you have an approved application, so if you're interested in adopting Tex fill out an online application today! arf-il/application.html Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will contact you to arrange a meeting. If you’re invited to meet an animal, please plan to arrive on time or early, as we cannot hold animals. All household members must be present at time of adoption, including dogs. We appreciate your cooperation!

Posted Breed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler (medium coat). Luna is a loving and loyal dog who is patiently waiting at CCHS for a new family. She was brought into our facility because she was not the biggest fan of the cats in the home, so she would do best in a home with no felines who might try to steal her favorite treats and snacks. Luna has a loving heart and a beautiful smile and loves to spend time outdoors. Stop by our facility if you are interested in making this great lady a part of your family.
